The weather is becoming warmer and the swimming season will soon be here.
Tryouts for the first Riverbank Swim Team will take place on Saturday, April 9, at the community pool located at Seventh and Stanislaus streets.
Lifeguard and water safety instructor classes will start on April 11.
The swim pool will open to the public on weekends in May, and then every day starting June 1.
For swimming classes, there will be walk- in registration at the pool on May 7 and May 14 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Beginning in May, mail and walk-in registrations will be taken at the recreation office located at 6707 Third Street.
