The entire Sac-Joaquin Section knows what the Riverbank Bruins track and field program brings to the table, yet it seems like the Bruins have a written obligation to make sure that their Trans-Valley League counterparts know exactly who runs the league.

Riverbank continued to ram their spikes into squads in the league, handling Escalon High with ease in the squad's two varsity level wins. The girls watched the scoreboard until the end, out scoring the Lady Cougar team 75-61 for the TVL win. The boys had less drama, keeping the throttle down in preparation for the upcoming postseason with a 91-39 victory.

The usual suspects filtered the top of the boys victory list, with Marc Miglin and Chris Nunes both grabbing victories. Miglin took down the 110-meter hurdles while Nunes shined in the 1600 meters. Nunes also earned a victory in the 800 meter race, and teammate Rodney Robbins won the 400 meter dash in a time of 54.7.

Mario Hernandez had a clean sweep in the 100 and 200 meters, winning both sprint showcase events. Hernandez won the 100 in 11.3 and took the 200 in 24.09. Miglin made good in the 300 hurdles, winning the event with a time of 40.5.
