The Riverbank High Cross Country program wasted little time making its presence felt on the area distance running circuit with a winning performance in the Sixth Annual Sierra Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 6 at Legion Park in Modesto.
The Lady Bruin varsity squad finished the invitational meet as the winner in the small schools division of the meet. Riverbank's varsity girls used an impressive finish from their top three runners to cruise to victory in the 34-team meet.
Tayler Anderson finished with a third place overall finish with her time of 21:35, followed by teammates Lizzie Uscanga (22:29) and Natalia Herrera (22:43).
