Riverbank Bruin soccer kicked off the 2025-26 season this past week with a home scrimmage. Other teams started play, too, but most were involved with away games.

Bruin Soccer

Riverbank hosted teams from Grace Davis High School in Modesto on Friday, Nov. 14. It was a scrimmage, so there was no clock and no official scores were kept. The conditions were also a little soggy, as a result of some rainfall earlier in the week.

The soccer boys were set to scrimmage in Oakdale this week, and are scheduled to play in the Hughson Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 21 and 22.

Lady Bruin Soccer

The girls soccer team was scheduled to host Davis this week as well as play at Modesto High in preseason contests.

Bruin Basketball

The Riverbank High School boys basketball campaign is to start with preseason games on Friday, Nov. 21 hosting Johansen, then hosting Delhi on Monday, Nov. 24. The boys then are scheduled to travel to Livingston on Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Lady Bruin Basketball

Basketball action for the girls was scheduled to start this week against Johansen High in Modesto. On Saturday, Nov. 22, they’re scheduled to be on the road at Liberty Ranch in Galt. They don’t have a home game scheduled until Monday, Dec. 1.

Bruin Wrestling

Riverbank’s JV boys grapplers start at Laguna Creek High School on Saturday, Nov. 22. The Lady Bruin wrestlers are slated to kick it off at a tournament at Tokay High School in Lodi on Saturday, Nov. 29.
