Hosts Show

The Mid Valley Saddle Club is having a Western/English schooling show on Sunday, June 5 at the Diamond Bar Arena in Ceres. Classes include halter, showmanship, equitation, pleasure, horsemanship and trail.

This is a great chance to show your horse and have fun.

Entry fees are low and classes are a learning experience for everyone.

For Summer Golf

The First Tee of San Joaquin Summer Tour begins June 11 at Van Buskirk Golf Course and The Reserve Golf Course for nine consecutive Saturdays and June 16 at Lockeford Springs Golf Course for nine consecutive Thursdays.

The cost is $40 for the first child and $30 for family siblings.

Summer

Football Camp

Modesto Junior College will be offering a summer Quarterback and Wide Receiver Camp for youth 12 - 18 years of age.

In its 19th year, this football camp offers young athletes an opportunity for three evenings of intense instruction and individual work with MJC football coaches and players.

The Quarterback and Wide Receiver Camp will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on June 27 - 29 in the MJC Stadium located on the East Campus, 435 College Ave. in Modesto.

Registration is $125 for quarterbacks and $100 for receivers.

Pre-registered participants receive a passing game manual and a camp T-shirt, with quarterbacks receiving an all-weather football and receivers given gloves.
