T-ball, baseball and softball teams of the Riverbank Youth Baseball Softball Association took turns running from first base to home plate during closing day activities on Saturday, May 17, at the California Avenue diamond. As they headed toward home plate, they were high fived by Mayor Rachel Hernandez. From home plate, they’d group on the third base line with coaches and sponsors to take their last team photo of the 2025 season. Altogether, it was a festive day for the RYBSA closing ceremonies on Saturday, May 17 with vendor, crafts and food booths and trucks scattered across the right field grass, along with a number of bounce houses available for youngsters to use in the left field area.
