Rob and Lisa Steves of Escalon are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter Kristen Steves to Michael Alexander, son of Jim and Lisa Alexander of Findlay, Ohio.

The couple met at their alma mater, Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York.

The bride-to-be is a Doctoral student at the University of Southern California. The prospective groom is employed with Motiva Enterprises as a Chemical Engineer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

A summer 2016 wedding has been planned and will be hosted at Carmel Mission in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
