Hosted on Saturday, Aug. 2 in Riverbank, more than 75 families turned out for a special Community Closet clothing distribution event. Love Riverbank, in partnership with Community Praise Tabernacle and Riverbank Promotoras, put on the event, which allowed residents to come in and choose some clothes for back-to-school needs and the cooler weather to come. Organizers said more than 175 people were able to get some items and with an estimated 75 volunteers on hand to help, those taking part were happy to give back to the community.
