Court Order Violations, Warrant Arrests In Riverbank

Deputies with Riverbank Police Services had several incidents during the past week that resulted in arrests. Following are a few of those cases.

Authorities conducted a traffic stop on Jason Baker, 43, for expired registration on Sunday, Aug. 23 at10:28 a.m. Baker did not have a valid driver’s license and was on active probation for assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies located a billy club in Baker’s vehicle. He was arrested for the illegal weapon and driving on a suspended license.

On Friday, Aug. 21, deputies were dispatched to the 5700 block of Holbrook Drive around 6:58 p.m. regarding a violation of a domestic violence restraining order. Deputies were provided an official copy of the DVRO; a 64-year-old man was arrested and booked into the jail for violation of the order.

Also on Friday, deputies conducted a traffic stop for vehicle code violations on Patterson Road. The driver was identified as Raul Tapia, 44. A records check revealed Tapia had a suspended driver’s license for DUI and two warrants. A loaded pistol was found in the trunk of the vehicle. Tapia was arrested and booked into jail for the illegal firearm and his warrants

Later on that night deputies responded to the 3200 block of High Street to a report of a fight in the middle of the street, and ultimately arrested Selene Robledo Majia, 27, for domestic violence, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Riverbank deputies were dispatched to a dispute on the 6000 block of Winners Circle on Monday. Following an investigation, a 44-year-old man was placed under arrest and later booked into the jail.

Also on Monday, deputies were dispatched to investigate a dispute on the 3500 block of Stanislaus Street. The 30-year-old suspect made contact with the victim in violation of a restraining order, according to deputies, and he was arrested and booked into the jail for the violation.
