Deputies with the Riverbank Police Services reported a busy pre-holiday period.

On Dec. 15, Mounted Deputies were conducting holiday horse patrols in the area of the Crossroads Shopping Center. While doing so they noticed a suspicious car with five occupants. The occupants appeared to be taking turns going in and out of Home Depot. The Mounted Deputies and Riverbank Police Services Patrol Deputies made contact with these subjects. A records check showed one of them, Diana Franco, 29, to have multiple warrants for her arrest out of Manteca and Modesto for identity theft, receiving stolen property and vehicle theft. She was arrested and booked on the warrants.

During the graveyard shift on Dec. 16, a Deputy was doing an area check near the intersection of Sierra and Palmer when he contacted a 53-year-old woman in the area. A records check revealed a trespass warrant for her arrest. She was booked on the warrant.

On Dec. 18 during the graveyard shift a Deputy conducted a subject stop at Parsley and Jackson. The subject, identified as Jorge Loaiza, 39, had four warrants for his arrest. Upon taking him into custody a search revealed two baggies of suspected methamphetamine on him. He was booked for the warrants and possession of methamphetamines.

During the day shift on Dec. 19, Deputies responded to an injury traffic collision on Oakdale Road near Prouty. Their investigation determined that one of the involved drivers was under the influence of alcohol. Michael Kandola, 34, was arrested and booked for felony DUI.
