The final full week of January was a busy one for deputies in Riverbank, as they responded to calls ranging from vandalism to theft, and drunk in public.

On Monday, Jan. 30 at 1:35 a.m. deputies responded to the 5400 block of Gold Hill Drive for a family disturbance. One arrest was reported with a subject transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

Deputies responded to the 3700 block of Topeka Street for a vandalism report on Monday at 10:06 a.m.; a 31-year-old male was subsequently arrested. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

At 12:51 p.m. on Monday, deputies responded to the 2800 block of Topeka Street for a found property report. The property turned out to be suspected drugs and was booked into evidence to be destroyed.

On Sunday, Jan. 29 at 8:50 a.m. deputies responded to the 6100 block of Tennessee Avenue for a theft. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies responded to First Street and Stanislaus Street due to a vehicle that hit a power pole at 10:51 p.m. on Sunday. The vehicle fled the scene but left the passenger door behind. The investigation is ongoing.

On Saturday, Jan. 28 at 9:44 a.m. deputies responded to the 3400 block of High Street for two subjects trespassing. A 31-year-old man was cited for trespassing. The other subject was a juvenile and was transported to Hutton House per social worker’s request.

At 6:29 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to Oakdale Road and Novi Drive for a solo vehicle collision into a curb.

At 8:48 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to Claribel Road and Squire Wells Way for a vehicle collision. The involved parties exchanged information.

On Saturday at 7:06 p.m., deputies responded to the 5500 block of Chancellor Way for a missing person report. The investigation is ongoing.

At 7:53 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to Ulta for theft of items. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies responded to Jackson and Sierra for a subject that appeared drunk and was yelling at passing vehicles on Saturday at 8:48 p.m. A 33-year-old man was arrested for drunk in public. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

On Friday, Jan. 27 at 1:05 a.m., deputies responded to an assault where a subject was reportedly pistol whipped after selling marijuana and asking for payment.

At 1:22 a.m. on Friday deputies responded to the 5300 block of Cottage Cove Drive for a family disturbance. Subjects were uncooperative with law enforcement.

Deputies responded to the 6700 block of Estelle Avenue for a vehicle versus tree on Friday at 4:59 a.m. A 25-year-old man was located in the area with the items from the vehicle. He was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the hospital, then to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

At 12:27 p.m. on Friday deputies responded to the 3500 block of Lloyd Court for a stolen vehicle report.

Deputies responded to the 3600 block of Santa Fe Street for a subject yelling at people in the park on Friday at 2:55 p.m. A 47-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

Later on Friday at 4:07 p.m. deputies responded to the 7000 block of Prestwick Drive for a family disturbance. One person was subsequently arrested, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.

At 9:04 p.m. on Friday deputies responded to the 2600 block of Stanislaus Street for a family disturbance. The responsible was gone when deputies arrived. A warrant was put out for his arrest.

On Thursday, Jan. 26 at 7:42 a.m., deputies responded to the 6400 block of Seventh Street for a family disturbance. It was verbal only that was over a phone being used without permission.

At 12:27 p.m. on Thursday deputies responded for a vehicle collision at Patterson and Oakdale roads. One party stated they had minor injuries.

At 1:33 p.m. on Thursday deputies responded to the 7000 block of Firethorn Drive for a firearm stolen from unlocked vehicle.

At 6:18 p.m. on Thursday deputies responded to the 5800 block of Terminal Avenue for a family disturbance. The parties stated it was verbal only.

Deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle driving recklessly on Thursday at 8:01 p.m. The motorcycle fled and was followed by the Sheriff’s Department helicopter to a location in Modesto. One subject was arrested for fleeing from the residence and impeding an investigation. The motorcycle that fled was located in the garage and towed after a seizure warrant was authorized. The investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 1:16 a.m. deputies responded to the 2700 block of Topeka Street for a disturbance.

At 4:12 p.m. on Wednesday deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop. The driver was cited for a having a suspended driver’s license and the vehicle was towed.
