Oakdale-Riverbank Fire Calls 1.19.22

A Wednesday night crash at Patterson and Bentley roads south of Oakdale saw crews responding to the scene; there were two vehicles involved and two people suffered minor injuries in the crash. Modesto Fire Department Photo

 

The following is a listing of some of the local calls for service involving the Modesto Fire Department, which staffs Stations 27, 28, 29 and 30 in Oakdale, Knights Ferry and Valley Home; and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department, covering the Riverbank area.

Calls were logged during the time period of Tuesday, Jan. 11 through Monday, Jan. 17. Days not listed had no reports of significant incidents in this area.

 

SATURDAY, JAN. 15

7:10 a.m. – Engine 29, Engine/Water Tender 27 and Battalion Chief 5 assisted Cal Fire TCU/Tuolumne County Fire with a working residential structure fire in the 13000 block of Tulloch Road. Engine 29 arrived at scene to find a working attic fire in a large two-story single-family residence. Crews operated in the offensive mode and contained the fire to the kitchen and attic space.

 

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 12

10:17 p.m. – Modesto Engine 27, Engine 28, and Battalion 5 responded to a vehicle accident on Patterson Road and Bentley Road south of Oakdale. Crews found two vehicles involved. Two occupants were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.

 

TUESDAY, JAN. 11

6:58 a.m. – Modesto Fire Department and Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District responded to a vehicle accident at Claus Road and Highway 108. Two vehicles were involved with one occupant transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

1:58 p.m. – Crews responded to the 1600 block of Claus Road for a public assist for a cat in a palm tree.
