Crews and equipment began preparing for the foundation of a new business in Crossroads Shopping Center in Riverbank this past week. After leveling the lot, forms will be going up soon for America’s Tire Company, across the drive from Red Robin Restaurant. According to city building officials, there only remain two lots for development in the shopping center, one right next to this one on Claribel Road, and another, smaller piece next to Save Mart Supermarket, where Goodwill Industries currently maintains a drop off location. Construction is picking up in several locations around town, with work being done just up Oakdale Road, and to the east, on Claus Road.
