A group of teens from the Riverbank community embarked on a wintery activity of ice skating and tubing at Del Oso Farms near Manteca courtesy of the City of Riverbank’s Parks and Recreation department. The youths were picked up at the Teen Center one recent day at 9 a.m. and returned at 4 p.m.

For a small fee the teens enjoyed an afternoon of fun with a train ride around the Del Oso family fun park and other wintertime activities.

There were approximately 19 participants between the ages of 10 and 18 along with Juanita Argumedo, Gerrick Figueroa, Janet Magallon, and Kerrie Webb, who supervised the group.

“Everyone had a blast,” said Webb. “It was fun.”

The next adventure on the horizon for the teens will be a trip to Santa Cruz in the summer and an overnight visit to Pinecrest.

A possible trip to Dodge Ski resort may occur as well if there is more snow in the mountains.
