Wendy Jean (Lorenz) Taylor, 70, of Oakdale, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 15, 2025.

Wendy was born December 17, 1954, and grew up in Fremont, CA. She moved to Oakdale with her husband, Buddy, in the early 1990’s, where she found her true home.

For 45 years, Wendy was a valued employee at Silgan Containers, where her dedication, strong work ethic, and loyalty were deeply appreciated by colleagues and friends alike.

Wendy will be remembered for her quick-witted humor, her generosity to friends, and her unwavering love for her family. Her love left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy. She is survived by her loving daughters, Frankie and Markie, and her cherished grandson, Jackson.

A celebration of life will be held at The Reata on 3rd in Oakdale on October 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Wendy’s life.
