SEPTEMBER SPLASH
Park labor day

Evening of Labor Day found families and friends still celebrating the holiday as the sun began to slide towards the western horizon at Jacob Myers Park on Monday, Sept. 6. Temperatures for the weekend nudged triple digits, rendering the cool water of the Stanislaus River a welcome respite from the heat. Even though the holiday signifies the unofficial end of summer, the warmth is scheduled to remain through most of this week.
