Winners of the Riverbank skating contest on Saturday were Andrew Casillas in the 10 years and under division, Pauly Rizo for the 11-14 division, Robin Romero for 15-18 and Daniel Garbez for 19 and older.
When the clatter of skateboards and aerial gymnastics were over, second and third places in the second annual Board and Blade Competition had gone to David Hickman and Elijah Smith-Kasinger for 10 and under, Matt Beaton and Austin Kidd for 11-14, Shang Madrid and Jeremy Higle for 15-18 and Devin Fuller and Tim Spino for 19 and older.
Although the contest was open to in-line skaters besides skateboarders, none entered, so only skateboarders competed.
There were 53 contestants and an estimated 300 spectators at the First and Santa Fe street skate park this year, according to Riverbank Recreation Department officials who put on the show.
