Black Oak Casino Resort Hosts Live Entertainment

Every weekend will be action packed this April as Black Oak Casino Resort continues to host live entertainment every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. A variety of musical styles and even a famed comedian will take to the Willow Creek Lounge stage throughout the month.

All shows are performed in the Casino’s Willow Creek Lounge. Most shows are free with a minimal ticket charge for a few select shows. For all 8 p.m. shows, doors will open at 6:30 p.m. while doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for 9 p.m. shows. Seating is first come, first serve.

Here is a look at some of the upcoming shows for April.

 

Saturday, April 1, 9 p.m. – The Cheeseballs: A high-energy dance band out of San Francisco, The Cheeseballs perform everything from 60s Motown and 80s New Wave to the latest hits of today.

 

Thursday, April 6, 8 p.m. – AC Myles: AC Myles is a blues guitarist and singer. The accomplished artist performs 60s and 70s blues-rock as well as songs from his own self-penned albums, “Reconsider Me” and “Rush to Red.”

 

Friday, April 7, 8 p.m. – Metal Shop: Considered the premier 80s rock experience, Metal Shop recreates music from the best hair bands of the decade. Hear them cover such bands as Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Van Halen and more.

 

Saturday, April 8, 9 p.m. – Audioboxx: This is a Reno based rock band covering favorites such as Poison, Def Leppard, AC/DC and Metallica.

 

Thursday, April 13, 8 p.m. – Comedian G. Reilly: A veteran comedian known for the Gabriel Iglesias’ Fluffy Mania tour, G. Reilly will have fans laughing in the aisles when he offers his hilarious opinions and observations of political and social issues.

 

Friday, April 14, 9 p.m. – Super Huey: This is the ultimate Huey Lewis and the News music experience. Fans will hear hits like “Heart of Rock ‘n Roll,” “The Power of Love,” “I Want a New Drug” and more.

 

Saturday, April 15, 9 p.m. – Night Fever: A high-energy party band out of Northern California, Night Fever covers a range of music styles including Disco, Funk, Pop, Hip-hop and Motown.

 

Thursday, April 20, 8 p.m. – Rusty Rockers: With music spanning the 50s and 60s, The Rusty Rockers take fans to a forgotten time when Elvis, The Platters, The Drifters and Ricky Nelson ruled the airwaves.

 

Friday, April 21, 9 p.m. – Mustache Harbor: Armed with the simple mission to create a soft rock explosion the likes of which has not been seen since the 70s and 80s, Mustache Harbor plays the light music classics fans love. Christopher Cross, Steely Dan and Kenny Loggins are just a few acts covered by the band.

 

Saturday, April 22, 9 p.m. – Gotcha Covered: A band that lives up to their name, they pay tribute to a wide array of musical genres. The Modesto based band covers artists like Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Taylor Swift and many more.

 

Thursday, April 27, 8 p.m. – Mojo Jackson Band: Comprised of three talented singer songwriters, Mojo Jackson Band combines insightful lyrics with sweet harmonies creating a fresh spin on traditional pop and soul.

 

Friday, April 28, 9 p.m. – Jones & Fisher: A young country music duo, Jones & Fisher have melded their styles and influences from their respective hometowns, Seattle and San Antonio, to create their own new unique sound.

 

Saturday, April 29, 9 p.m. – The Band Fresh: Based out of Los Angeles, The Band Fresh is a young versatile band playing the hottest Latin, Rock, R&B and Hip-Hop music around.

 

Willow Creek Lounge is a smoke free entertainment venue complete with a full service bar, dance floor and bar-top video slots. All guests of the lounge must be 21 or older.
