Miss Stanislaus Spirit Pageant Now Seeking Area Participants

The Second Annual Miss Stanislaus Spirit Princess Pageant, a pageant for girls with disabilities, is a magical event that is scheduled for June. It is hosted by the Modesto 500 Lions Club and proceeds will benefit the Society for disABILITIES. This pageant puts the contestants on a memorable path; this experience is designed to give participants great memories, strong friendships, and a defining sense of accomplishment. The pageant will definitely be magical. Participants are being sought from throughout the region.

Reigning Miss Stanislaus Spirit is Hayven Smith of Oakdale, who was named the inaugural Princess at the 2017 pageant.

The pageant will be Saturday, June 2 at Downey High School Auditorium, 1000 Coffee Road, Modesto. Admission is $15 per person. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available through a Modesto 500 Lions Club member, and the Society for disABILITIES. It is also possible to sponsor a princess for $100.

Pageant entry is open to girls from 5 to 22 with a disability. A non-refundable registration fee of $25, application, and photo for the program is required. Included in the registration fee is one guest ticket, a complimentary hair styling, a Princess Party Luncheon, a goody bag, and a participation trophy. In addition to Miss Stanislaus Spirit Princess being crowned, Miss Best Friend will also be recognized.
