Micke Grove Zoo has three upcoming Zoo After Dark programs on the schedule, one in August and two in September.

Each features games, crafts and animal encounters, along with a night zoo tour of nocturnal animals, a campfire, s’mores and snacks. Open to ages five and up, the cost is $20 per person or $15 for Micke Grove Zoo Society members.

Events are scheduled on Fridays, Aug. 23 and Sept. 6 and 20. The August program runs from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and the September events will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Also, make reservations now for you and your little one to attend Zoo Tots, held Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August. Programs begin at 10 a.m. at Micke Grove Zoo and the cost is $15 per person, $10 for society members. Aug. 20 and 21 will feature a program on ‘What is all the buzzing about?’ while Aug. 27 and 28 will feature ‘Baby Shark Doo Doo.’
