Deanna Lynn Ferreira passed peacefully April 6, 2024 at the age of 57. Born November 17, 1966 at Doctors Hospital, Modesto to Lynn and Albert Ferreira.

Deanna attended Oakdale High School where she graduated in 1984. She also attended cosmetology school. She maintained a career as a caretaker for Stanislaus County. She was also active for many years with Oakdale Relay For Life.

Deanna loved life and enjoyed traveling with her partner in life Richard Garza. She was happiest when spending time with her family and dear friends. She was a mother figure to many and was very proud of her children.

Deanna is survived by her partner in life, Richard Garza; her daughter Hailee Pettit; her mother Lynn Ferreira; step-children, Alexys, Haley and Nikolas Garza and grandson, Coleson Hernandez. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert W. Ferreira.

Oakdale-Riverbank Memorial Mortuary will host visitation on Thursday, April 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held Friday, April 19 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Annunciation, Oakdale. Interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life for Deanna will follow burial at the FES Hall, Oakdale.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in her honor to Stanislaus County Hospice.
