Known as a Waning Moon, the lunar sphere watched over the Homecoming Football Game on Friday evening, Sept. 22 on the Riverbank High School campus. Just a little later, at 11:50 p.m., our part of the Earth crossed over the Autumnal Equinox, signifying the beginning of Fall. Figuratively the day of equal daylight and dark that begins the season, the hours of daylight will now continue to get shorter everywhere.
