The popular Bike Rodeo will be rolling back into Riverbank again next week.

Set for Wednesday, June 11, it’ll be a family-friendly evening of fun, bicycle safety tips and community spirit, organizers said. The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Plaza del Rio Park on Third Street, across from City Hall North.

Activities are scheduled to include free bicycle registration for those who ride to the event, health and safety information, food and crafts and a bike raffle.

There will be the bicycle rodeo for youngsters 12 and under, and a bike wheelie and trick contest for those 13 to 18 years of age. The wheelie contest is open to Riverbank residents only. On-site registration and parental consent will be required.
