sr care

If you know of a senior citizen that might be in need of assistance right now, you are asked to get in touch with the City of Riverbank. Officials said they are looking for input from residents, with names of those seniors who might need help due to the coronavirus and having to shelter in place.

“Please contact our office so that we may check-in and refer them to free services and resources,” city officials said.

Call the city at 209-863-7150; hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Senior citizens can self-refer to the city or residents can get in touch with the city officials to alert them to seniors needing help.

The city will be able to refer seniors to assistance with free senior meals (delivery available); buying groceries, toiletries, etc.; prescription pick up; transportation; COVID-19 and health updates, along with emergency preparedness information.
