The League of Women Voters of Stanislaus County is presenting the candidates for the Riverbank City Council. The forum gives voters the opportunity to hear the candidates answer questions from the audience. It is free and open to the public.

The forum is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 17 at the Riverbank Community Center, 3600 Santa Fe St., Riverbank.

Time for the forum is 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There are races in two districts for Riverbank City Council. In District 1, candidates for the post are Luis Uribe, Jack Whorton and Eva Sanchez Nash. In District 3, incumbents Cal Campbell and Leanne Jones Cruz will be running against each other, as the city makes the switch to representation by district as opposed to at-large representatives.
