Each year on the second weekend of October, downtown Riverbank becomes a vibrant street festival spread along Santa Fe between Second and Seventh streets.
Organized by the Rotary Club, the 35th annual Riverbank Cheese & Wine Expo falls this year on Saturday, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The festival will offer more than 200 arts, crafts and other vendor booths, two stages with live music, a children's entertainment area with slides and rides, cheese vendors selling their specialties and, the highlight of the event, wine tasting in Cellar Square. There will be plenty of food and fun for everyone including margaritas, microbrews and beer.
