The Bianchi Community Center in Oakdale was filled to capacity on April 6 for the annual Cowgirl Luncheon, one of the most popular events during Rodeo Week in the Cowboy Capital. With cowboys serving the food and filling drink orders at the bar, the cowgirls enjoy a chance to sit back, relax, catch up with friends and support a good cause. The luncheon was catered by Oakdale's House of Beef and owner Steve Medlen was recognized this year for his support of the rodeo community, named as the Grand Marshal for the annual rodeo parade.
