Deputies Make Arrests For Battery, Public Intoxication

Riverbank Police Services handled a variety of calls over the last week including battery, public intoxication, and theft. Listed below are details of some of those calls.

Around midnight on Saturday, Feb. 20, deputies were dispatched to the 5900 block of Stretch Drive on the report of a fight. An adult male was arrested for battery.

Deputies arrested a 50-year-old man for public intoxication in the 3000 block of High Street during the morning hours on Friday, Feb.19.

Around noon on Friday, deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of Patterson Road on the report of a female passed out on the side of the road. A 29-year-old woman was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for herself, she was arrested for public intoxication.

Deputies were dispatched to the 2200 block of Claribel Road on the report of a subject walking into traffic and throwing food at people walking by on Friday afternoon. Deputies stopped a 51-year-old man and determined he was intoxicated and unable to care for his own safety. He was arrested for public intoxication.

On Thursday, Feb. 18 in the morning, deputies arrested a 27-year-old man on Claribel Road west of Oakdale Road. The man was found to be in possession of illegal drugs, paraphernalia, and had warrants for his arrest.

Deputies responded to the 5900 block of Terminal Avenue for a domestic incident around noon on Thursday. After their investigation, they arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection with the case.

During the afternoon on Thursday, deputies responded to a shoplifter at Ulta Beauty. Deputies arrested a 48-year-old woman after they connected her with several thefts at the business.

Deputies and the Major Accident Investigation Team investigated a fatal vehicle collision between a motor vehicle and bicyclist on Claribel Road west of Roselle Avenue during the early morning hours of Wednesday, Feb. 17.

On the morning of Tuesday, Feb. 16, deputies responded to the report of subject who was straddling the railing of the First Street bridge. Deputies located a 29-year-old woman in the area who matched the description. She was determined to be intoxicated and unable to care for her own safety. As the woman was taken into custody, she spit on deputies. She was arrested for public intoxication and for spitting on deputies.

Just after noon on Monday, Feb. 15, deputies arrested a 54-year-old woman in the 3900 block of California Avenue for theft and public intoxication.
