During the recent Riverbank Unified School District board meeting, Tim Turner was recognized for being selected for the 2022-23 “Employees Making a Difference” (EMAD) program. Turner is an Equipment/Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic for the district. Stanislaus County Office of Education (SCOE) and the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region VII honored 29 outstanding classified (non-supervisory) education employees from school districts throughout Stanislaus County for the annual program in its 16th year. Superintendent Christine Facella remarked that Turner is a “gem” for the district and has “gone above and beyond” assisting everyone whenever possible.
