DIGGING IN
Work Crew.jpg
Jackhammer.jpg

Traffic backed up in all directions last week as PG&E crews cut into the pavement and concrete at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Patterson Road as part of a gas line replacement project. Also, a jackhammer operator works to dig up the lines on Roselle Avenue. One lane at a time was opened to traffic, except when trains were crossing Patterson, when all the lanes became blocked. The project is to replace gas mains where they cross Roselle, near Monschein Industries, in preparation for installation of traffic lights at the intersection later.
