Fall Prevention Program
STRENGTH

A fall prevention program, Young at Heart Strength Training, is open to older adults, ages 60 and better, at the Riverbank Community Center twice a week.

The program runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to noon, and the Community Center is at 3600 Santa Fe St., Riverbank.

All age 60 and older are encouraged to attend.

The Young at Heart Strength Training Fall Prevention Program is specifically designed for older adults 60 and better. Exercises can be done seated in a chair and/or standing near a chair to help older adults maintain balance to ensure they are exercising within their own ability and in a pain free range of motion. In these classes older adults build strength, improve balance, and maintain flexibility.
