Riverbank United Methodist Church will be hosting its annual “Holiday Bazaar and Soup Lunch” on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 and 27 at the church, corner of Atchison and Third streets, Riverbank.

Bazaar shopping will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with many holiday items, baked goods, and other crafts. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will be serving homemade corn chowder, cream of broccoli soup, chicken noodle soup, vegetable beef soup, white beans with ham, and Portuguese beans with linguica for $4.50 and many flavors of fruit and cream pies for $2.50 per slice. Delivery to Riverbank businesses, schools and residences is available by calling 209-480-6548.

On Saturday, Oct. 27 from noon to 4 p.m., there will also be a special ‘Kid Zone’ where children can make crafts, play games and just have fun.

All are encouraged to come enjoy this time with your children, have a bowl of soup and do a little holiday shopping.
