Local Girl Scouts Launch Daily Virtual Programming

As part of Girl Scout Hearts of Central California’s commitment to girls and the community, they’re making a wide selection of virtual Girl Scout programming available to all girls throughout the region, at little to no cost, during COVID-19.

Girls and parents can find the latest digital Girl Scout programs and interactive virtual events at GSHCCvirtual.org. Parents and caregivers can also sign up at GSHCCvirtual.org to receive a weekly email highlighting the events and experiences for girls happening in the weeks ahead.

“At a time with so much uncertainty, Girl Scouts is a place that can be consistent for girls and families to stay connected and continue to make the world a better place,” Madison Shepard, Director of Girl Experience.

Upcoming virtual programs include a self-defense class, a leave no trace outdoor training, a pour painting arts class where girls learn the techniques of this fluid painting style, and a virtual backpacking expedition series where girls will learn how to plan, pack, and prepare for their very first wilderness expedition.

Girls Scouts’ virtual programs utilize everyday materials and supplies you’re likely to already have on hand, right at home.
