The National Night Out campaign involves emergency and law enforcement agencies, civic groups, neighborhood organizations, local government officials, local businesses and citizens throughout the community for the purpose of: heightening crime and drug prevention awareness, generating support for, and participation in local anti-crime programs such as Neighborhood Watch, strengthening neighborhood spirits and police-community partnerships, sending a message to criminals letting them know that local neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

All in the community are invited to come on out and meet and greet your neighbors in Riverbank on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
