Long-time, local resident and businessman-pharmacist Ken Cosner, Pharm. D., has been serving Oakdale and Stanislaus County residents this year with a twice weekly vaccination clinic for all interested in COVID, flu, shingles, pneumoccocal (pneumonia) and other vaccines.

Assisted by RN Chris Courtney, and pharmacists Walt Cooley and Brandon Brodt, as well as River Oak staff and Oakdale High School student volunteers, Cosner has served more than 3000 local residents in 2021 alone. A graduate of Oakdale High, 1972, and University of California San Francisco School of Pharmacy, Cosner has been a respected pharmacist for many years since graduation at both Oak Valley Hospital and his River Oak Pharmacy, located on West F Street.

The clinic offers drive-up and walk-in service to patients. Many may also know Cosner for his long-time service and fundraising drives as Past-President of the local Rotary chapter, as well as a Distinguished Achievement Award-winner and a Reader’s Choice winner with The Oakdale Leader-Riverbank News-Escalon Times.
