Although the Love Riverbank campaign took a hiatus in 2018 it has come back with One Church Riverbank taking the lead. This year’s community work day is coming up on Saturday, April 13.

Love Riverbank will begin at 8 a.m. with participants gathering at 3600 Santa Fe Street, in front of the Riverbank Community Center. There will be a brief rally around 8:15 a.m., prior to teams departing to their designated project locations around the city.

There will be music, food, refreshments, and a Love Riverbank T-shirt giveaway, while supplies last.

Volunteers are needed for alley clean up, the community center, a variety of projects at the parks like the Silva park sign, planting flowers at Jacob Myers Park, and many more.

Many cities around the Central Valley are hosting the community work days this spring; Oakdale has planned its event on April 6 while Escalon will join Riverbank in the April 13 project date.
