The Modesto Junior College Department of Music presents the Symphonic Band Spring Concert on Monday, April 22 at 7 p.m. in the Main Auditorium on East Campus, 435 College Ave., Modesto.

The Symphonic Band, conducted by Erik Maki, will perform a program of stirring works including “Festa” by Elliot Del Borgo, “Persistence” by Richard Saucedo, “Fanfare and Intermezzo” by Robert Sheldon, “Cajun Folk Songs” by Frank Ticheli and “Abram’s Pursuit” by David Holsinger.

The event is open to the public and admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted. Free campus parking is also available for the evening to accommodate concert attendees.
