Riverbank first responders are planning a night of fun with family, friends and neighbors as they continue working to build a community partnership.
They hope to help a “police-community partnership make our town a safer, better place to live by hosting the local edition of the 40th Annual National Night Out.”
The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department/Riverbank Police Services is teaming up again with Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District personnel and Riverbank city staff to host a gathering at Silva Park, 5800 Antique Rose Way in Crossroads. The National Night Out celebration is set from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1.
They’re planning free food and drinks, along with tours of emergency vehicles, visits with firefighters, law enforcement personnel including K-9 and mounted units, giveaways of goodie bags and other surprises.
