Mrs. Anita Gonzales was born on January 2, 1919 in Cotton City, Maricopa, Arizona. Anita was one of eight children. Anita married her loving husband, Paul Gonzales, in 1935. They spent almost 36 wonderful years together and were blessed with eight children of their own; Johnny Gonzales of Nevada, Rosie Bayne of Sonora, CA, Nellie Gonzales of Riverbank, CA, Paul Gonzales Jr. of Mechanicsburg, PA, Raymond Gonzales of Riverbank, CA, Evelyn Woody of Oakdale, CA, Rebecca of Manteca, CA, and Catherine Mosley of Vancouver, WA.
Anita and Paul are fortunate to have over 42 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 10 greatgreat grandchildren.
Anita devoted her life to caring and providing for her family; she worked very hard and long hours allowing her to pass on to her children the value of good work ethic. She also engrained in them respect, pride, and honor for our Country; thus making the 4th of July the favorite holiday for the Gonzales family. Anita, who has lived in Riverbank since 1955, has been a blessing to all she has come in contact with over the past 95 years. She will be missed dearly.
