Tony was born in Modesto to Antonio and Lupe Banuelos and raised in Riverbank where he graduated with the first class to attend Riverbank High School for all four years. Tony met the love of his life, Debra, in second grade, became high school sweethearts and married in September of 1972.

Tony was so proud of his family: daughters Kacey and son-in-law Jaymes and Krista (Myron) and his true pride and joy, his grandchildren Kendall, Kenya and Byron.

Tony’s first career was a hairdresser as Co-owner of The Men’s Room and owner of Anthony B’s. In the early ‘90s, Tony started his second career in the oil and petroleum industry. He thoroughly enjoyed his clients and customers. Tony had a strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and was always the first to lend a helping hand or to give advice. He coached Jr. High and High School Football as well as T-Ball. He was also the “Voice of the Bruins” for both football and basketball for many years.

Tony was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January of 2016 and fought hard until the very end. Tony was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws. He leaves behind his beloved wife Debra, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren, brothers Joe Arbizu, Bob (Debbie) Arbizu, sisters Joyce (Mike) Jericoff, Georgia (Bob) Jacobsen, Phil Banuelos and Delia Rodriguez as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tony will be deeply missed by many but forever loved by all who knew him.
