Antonio R. ‘Big Tony’ Banuelos, 84, died peacefully on Thursday, March 14 of a short illness with loved ones by his side.

He was born in Sonora, Ariz. He lived most of his life in Riverbank.

Mr. Banuelos retired as a shift foreman from Contadina Cannery. He was a caring and giving man who loved his trips to Lake Tahoe casinos.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie N. Banuelos; four children; nine stepchildren; first wife, Tomasa Ruic; one brother; five sisters; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregoria R. Banuelos and Mauro Vicuna; second wife, Lupe Ulloa Banuelos; and three children.

No services planned.
