Avenell Moffeit passed away November 28, 2014,  with family members by her side she went to meet Jesus.   She was 91 years old.  She was a kind, generous, and devout woman.  She was involved in many church activities because she was married to a preacher.  She was a bit of a minister herself – she ministered to the sick, the poor, the needy.

   Avenell was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Ralph Moffeit, one brother, James Swanner, one sister, Bernice Arant.  She leaves behind one sister, Odell Vaughn, her children , Paulette Roberson, Colette Shearer,  Ralph Moffeit, Jr. and Jimmie Sue Blose. She had  13 grandchildren and  18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.    A Celebration of her life – open to all - will be in Cushing, Oklahoma on December 20th at the First Baptist Church from 2 – 4  p.m.
