Don R. Coryell, 59, died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009 at his Riverbank home.

He was a native of Red Bluff. He lived in Riverbank nine years.

Mr. Coryell served in the U.S. Navy.

He owned an operated Coryell Design & Drafting for 15 years.

He was a member of Shelter Cove Community Church, Toastmasters, American Legion, Association of Marriage and Family Ministries, and was a board member of the International Center of Reconciling Gods Way.

He enjoyed photography, riding his Harley, creative connections ministry, and singing in choir.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Coryell of Riverbank; children, Christopher Coryell of Rio Rancho, NM, Jason Coryell of Bakersfield, Diane Coryell of Oakdale; stepchildren, Marissa Shull of Modesto, Lisa Temores of Riverbank, Justin Temores of Modesto, Brandon Temores of San Diego; sisters, Brenda Santander of San Diego and Nina Dietric of Santa Barbara; brother, Howard Ruble of Corning; and nine grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Jan. 2 at Lakewood Memorial Park, a celebration of life followed at Shelter Cove Community Church, Modesto.
