Donald B. Stewart, 82, died Tuesday, April 20 at Oak Valley District Hospital.

He was a native of San Francisco and lived in Riverbank for 16 years.

Mr. Stewart was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and National Guard.

He had been a sales executive for 30 years.

He was a member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, a commissioner on the Riverbank Housing Authority, volunteer docent at the McHenry Museum, and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Stewart of Riverbank; children, Mark Stewart of Orange; Christina Von Essen of Riverbank; and four grandchildren.

A rosary was held April 23 at Riverbank Memorial Chapel. Mass was held April 24 at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church, burial followed at Acacia Memorial Park, Modesto.

No visitation.
