Howard Barnes, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 29 at his Riverbank home.
He was a native of Oklahoma. He lived in Riverbank 57 years.
Mr. Barnes served in the U.S. Navy.
He was an electrician at Contadina Foods for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Barnes of Riverbank; children, Michelle Thompson of Livermore, Scott Barnes of Modesto, David Barnes of Davis; brother, Odes Barnes of Dove Canyon; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sylvan Chapel, Modesto.
