Howard Bettelyoun, 84, died Tuesday, March 16 at Riverbank Nursing Center.
He was a native of South Dakota. He lived in Oakdale for 22 years, Sacramento for 12 years and Southern California for 35 years. He was a barber in the Los Angeles and Rocklin areas for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Bettelyoun of Oakdale; daughters, Lynda Stephens of Oakdale, Barbara Hill and Claudette Griffin, both of Southern California; brother, Lester Bettelyoun of Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Thursday, March 18 at Lakewood Memorial Park. Burial followed.
Lakewood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
