Lawrence Edgar Dillon, 79, of Modesto died Friday, Feb. 20 at his home.
He was a native of Arkansas and lived in the Modesto-Riverbank area for 55 years.
Mr. Dillon had worked as a warehouseman for 37 years at Contadina Foods.
He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Oakdale and Teamsters Local #748.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel Dillon of Modesto; children, Lawrence 'Bud' Dillon of Oakdale, Kenneth Dillon of Texas; stepchildren, Anita Hale of Escalon, James Lucas of Martinez; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25 at First Missionary Baptist Church, Oakdale, with burial to follow.
