Maria Aurelia Montanez Duarte, 80, of Riverbank, died Wednesday, Jan. 26 at Doctors Medical Center.

She was a native of Mexico and lived in Riverbank for 29 years. She worked as a grader for Hunt-Wesson for 18 years. She was a member of Saint Frances of Rome Catholic Church and Teamsters Local 748.

She is survived by her husband, Pablo Duarte of Riverbank; children, Maria Gonsalez and Manuel Duarte of Mexico, Pablo Duarte, Jr. of Oakdale, Gloria Rios, Maria Garza, Martha Duarte, Angel Duarte, Ubaldo Duarte and Veronica Guillen, all of Riverbank; sister, Natividad Perez of Mexico; brothers, Juan Rodriguez and Elias Rodriguez, both of Mexico, Salvador Rodriguez of Los Angeles; 30 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Rosary was said on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Riverbank Memorial Chapel. Mass will be said on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 9 a.m. at Saint Frances of Rome Catholic Church, Riverbank. Burial at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery. Visitation was held.
