Oma Christine Booth, 76, died Monday, Nov. 5 in Tahlequah, OK. She was a lifelong resident of Tahlequah, OK. She married her husband in 1949 in Tahlequah. She was a member of Peggs Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed fishing and loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Mark Booth; daughters, Bonnie M. Mathis of Oakdale, and Mary Gentry of Keys; sons, Mark Booth, Jr. of Tulsa, OK and Virgel Booth of Peggs, OK; sisters, Leona Gonzales of Oklahoma City, OK; Geneva Wilson of Peggs, OK, and Edna Owens of Sand Springs, OK; brothers, Arley Rose of Peggs, OK; Harvey Rose of Peggs, OK, Troy Rose of Winslow, AZ, Virgel Rose of Territon, OK, Ed Rose of Westville, OK, Jimmy Rose of Muskogee, OK, and Jerry Rose of Peggs, OK; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Pearlie (Hammons) Rose; daughter, Sue Booth; sisters, Clovia Collins and Betty Davis; grandchild, Angela Villines; and great-grandchild, Makayla Rushing. Service was held Nov. 8 at Reed Culver Chapel, OK. Burial followed at Ross Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Reed Culver Funeral Home, OK. The Escalon (Calif.) Times Nov. 14, 2007
