Throughout the City of Riverbank, deputies were on patrol over the past week and handled a number of calls including traffic collisions, thefts, and disturbances.
On Sunday, Jan. 22 at 7:54 a.m. deputies responded to the 5100 block of Oakdale Road for a fire at an abandoned structure. Deputies advised transients they were not allowed on the property.
At 8:44 p.m. on Sunday deputies attempted to stop two vehicles that were racing. One vehicle yielded, the driver was cited for racing and his vehicle was towed.
Deputies responded to Terminal and Kentucky avenues for a stolen vehicle recovery on Sunday at 10:11 p.m. The vehicle was released to the registered owner.
On Saturday, Jan. 21 at 3:32 a.m. deputies responded to a solo vehicle collision at Patterson Road and Callander Avenue. A 22-year-old woman was arrested for DUI, she was transported and booked at the Stanislaus Detention Center.
At 4:47 p.m. on Saturday deputies responded to Target for a petty theft. The investigation is ongoing.
At 6:28 p.m. on Saturday deputies responded to Target for a grand theft report. The investigation is ongoing.
On Friday, Jan. 20 at 7:15 a.m. deputies responded to Claus and Patterson roads for a vehicle collision.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Friday at 8:11 a.m.; the 34-year-old driver was arrested for an outstanding warrant, transported and booked into the Stanislaus Detention Center.
At 9:50 a.m. on Friday deputies responded for a possible scam report. An unknown person was impersonating a retired deputy trying to verify credit card information.
During the afternoon on Friday at 1:18 p.m. deputies responded to the 2500 block of Country Manor for a theft report. An unknown responsible stole a school Chromebook out of the vehicle. There is no suspect information.
At 2:22 p.m. on Friday deputies responded to a three-vehicle collision at First and Atchison streets. There were no injuries reported.
On Thursday, Jan. 19 at midnight, deputies responded to the 2700 block of Topeka Street for a lost property report.
Deputies responded to the 3700 block of Kentucky Avenue for a vandalism report on Thursday at 8:08 a.m. The bathrooms at the park had graffiti painted all over the walls.
At 3:18 p.m. on Thursday deputies responded to the 2900 block of Stanislaus Street for a stolen firearm report.
On Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 3:59 a.m. deputies responded to BevMo for a burglary alarm. They found the front glass had been broken and merchandise was taken. Detectives are working on the case.
At 7:43 a.m. on Wednesday deputies responded to the 5800 block of Saxon Way for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision.
At 12:23 p.m. on Wednesday deputies responded to Target for a petty theft report. The investigation is ongoing.
Deputies responded to the 5700 block of Rose Brook Drive for a security check on Wednesday at 2:23 p.m. Law enforcement was not needed and everybody at the house was secure. Nothing suspicious observed.
At 3:23 p.m. on Wednesday deputies responded to California Street and Claus Road for a vehicle collision. Minor injuries were reported.
On Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 9:05 a.m. deputies responded to the 3600 block of Castlepark Drive for a report of identity theft. There is no suspect information.
Deputies responded to the 6400 block of Fourth Street for a family disturbance on Tuesday at 11:01 a.m.; a 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident. He was transported and booked at the Stanislaus Detention Center.
